Tell us about your track

Moksh, produced by Akrox, is a refreshingly heavy hitting fusion of Indian and experimental electronic music which will leave the audience moving their heads and grooving to it’s unexpected twists and turns. Coupled with the vocals of a highly trained classical singer, lyrics of a seasoned storyteller and the expert knowhow of a visionary music producer, Moksh has weaved a captivating story of triumph over restricting personal belief and the reign of the tyrannous ego through a careful arrangement and selection of never before heard sounds.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

The inspiration was to create a piece to express a particular phase of a person’s life where they find themselves confused and worried about all the pain and suffering they are going through. So we had to make unique choicee keeping an oberall dark vibe that would do justice to the message.

How long did it take to record the track \album \EP ?

The whole process took around 3 months due to all the necessary changes we needed situationally be it production, songwriting, getting a proper recording slot at the studio or that one time when the whole project crashed due to which we had to recreate the entire project again from scratch. It was indeed a project that itself wanted to come forth somehow and it did do that through all these challenges and setbacks.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

The Lyrics talk about the pain and suffering a person has to endure again and again in their life which often ends up making them lose track of their life, finding themselves in a kind of misery to which there seems to be no solution, they find no direction or a way out yet once they start challenging their fears and stop doubting themselves they accumulate enough hope that it helps them overcome all of their fears and find themselves free from the bond of pain and suffering.

What brings next after this release?

Well, currently I am experimenting with new varied styles of production with a genre agnostic approach and absorbing philosophies from all across the globe so, if all goes well, the next few releases will really bring something unique to the table to surprise your ears and freshen up your mind.
