Asura’s mixtape “Surang” is the artist stuck in a tunnel and his perception of how everything that goes around always comes around.

Tell us about your track

I have just released my debut mixtape titled “SURANG”. “Surang”, which literally means “A Tunnel” serves as an introduction to the sound as well as the tunnel vision of the artist. It’s a whole package of mixed feelings of the artist. Where the tracks like “Cheeteh”, “Surang– the title track” and “Last Breath” are more of feel good types; the tracks like “Eternity”, “Destiny” and “Overseas” talk more about the vision of the artist and what he is capable of achieving in the next coming years. The fresh and unique compositions and clean trap type production is what makes this tape to stand out.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

I am heavily inspired by the styles of Gunna, Travis Scott and many more melodic rap artists from The States and UK scene.

How long did it take to record the track \album \EP ?

It almost took me a year to create this 10 track mixtape.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?
