Gray Daze, the Phoenix, Arizona rock band previously fronted by a pre-fame Chester Bennington, have introduced the forthcoming launch of a brand new album, The Phoenix. And the group are describing the 10-track assortment as “a celebration of our good friend, his expertise, and the music.”
As a primary style of the album, set for launch on June 17 through Loma Vista Recordings, Gray Daze have shared its lead-off single, Saturation (Unusual Love).
Chester Bennington left Gray Daze in 1998, shifting to Los Angeles quickly after to hitch Linkin Park, then referred to as Xero. The singer later reunited along with his outdated mates and was within the strategy of recording new music with the band earlier than his loss of life in July 2017.
In 2020, Gray Daze launched Amends, that includes newly-recorded music accompanied by remastered takes of Bennington’s vocals taken from the band’s again catalogue. Talking of the music, drummer Sean Dowdell says, “It’s going to shock lots of people as a result of it will get again to Chester’s core.”

Evaluating the group’s forthcoming album to its predecessor, Dowdell says, “Amends was extra emotional and reflective. We felt unhappy once we have been writing it. Now that we’re a few years eliminated, it’s very clear what we have been going by means of. We have been at a special stage of grief. We went by means of the shock and the unhappiness. Now, we’re again to gratitude.
