Summary ‘Anurag’ is about poet’s love for an imaginary girl whom he never met and wants to unite for his life time. In a hazy morning when misty steam rises up the sun hides behind the clouds. That moment poet feels the girl coming to him with melodic jingling of her anklet. But he has never even got a single glimpse of her so he yearns for it. The song ‘Anurag’ is beautifully composed and sung by Dhruba Basumatary and written by Pranjit E. Hazarika

Always wanted to make a song where I can express myself and with this beautiful concept, Me and Pranjit thought of making the song. We never thought, how much views will the song would get but yes, the happiness in making the song was different.

The song was composed, written, arranged & sung in a single night and was released the next day.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

The word “Anurag” means attachment & eternal love. So, The lyrics behind this song says, that the poet is in love with an imaginary girl, whom he never met but he really hopes that the girl really exists and wants to unite for his life. He has never seen the girl but he waits to have a single glimpse of his imaginary girl.
