Tell us your inspiration behind this track

I produced Losing You in the middle of the pandemic, when I wasn’t in the best place mentally and took a lot of time reflecting on my past experiences of separation and loneliness. Pretty early on, I sent the instrumental demo to Wolfpup, who was writing an emotional vocal topline that fit the track almost too perfectly. After collaborating to finish the demo, we decided to turn it into a 2-part story and reached out to Livingston Crain, who did an amazing job completing the vocal duet from the other side’s perspective.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

There are so many relationships that seem happy on the surface. Behind closed doors, sometimes things aren’t as they seem. Losing You is about questioning whether all sacrifices in a relationship are worth it; and when it is time to give it up. Some people say love fixes everything; that love heals everything. But over the years some cracks simply can’t be fixed with love, and instead grow deeper and deeper to the point you reach an ultimatum: do you continue getting hurt in an attempt to fill the rift for a chance for a future together, or do you walk away?
