JUDAS PRIEST’s ROB HALFORD Recovering From A Chilly, Band To Resume Touring This Week

Judas Priest canceled their April 4 date on the Tsongas Heart at UMass Lowell in Lowell, MA because of “non-COVID associated sickness.” Now guitarist Richie Faulkner has revealed in an interview with East Coast Reside (by way of Blabbermouth) that vocalist Rob Halford is at the moment recovering from a chilly and that the band plans on enjoying their April 7 in Canada.

“We’re resting up. Yesterday, we needed to, sadly, cancel the present,” stated Faulkner. “And the rationale for that’s in order that we will protect our well being and get higher. Rob‘s received a little bit of a chilly. So we will protect our well being, get again on monitor and do the remainder of the reveals in Canada. Yeah, that is what we’re aiming to do.

“Clearly, these guys have been doing it for 50 years; I have been doing it for just a few years with them. Even in case you do not tour as a musician, all of us get sick on occasion. It is gonna occur. Once you’re on the street, it is a rigorous schedule. And even pre-COVID, now post-COVID, so to talk, you are gonna catch bugs and stuff like that; it is simply a part of the life we lead. And clearly being a singer, if it was me or Ian or Scott or Andy, I believe we might perhaps simply hammer via it, however clearly when your instrument’s your voice, it is a bit more durable to do. So he is resting up, he is resting his voice, he is on some meds, and he is gonna get via it.”

Judas Priest will wrap up their tour with Queensrÿche this week, and are at the moment engaged on a brand new document.
