The song ‘Jugnoo’ is a disclosure of wonderment and contemplation one experiences while taking stock of the night sky in its ultimate glory. It hints at the fragility of our dreams, much like fleeting fireflies of the night, and observes how shooting stars often get concealed by clouds, taking away the wishes too. A nostalgic feeling about places, stories and times which we can think about and feel good.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

So I come from this small town located near Nagpur where I have spent a lot of time with myself enjoying these little things since childhood, for example shooting stars. So I wanted to express this joy by creating an experience. And that’s how ‘Jugnoo’ happened. About enjoying the breeze at night and remembering good times, places and stories and feeling good about them.

How long did it take to record the track album EP ?

Basic idea was always there. But later on we tracked Guitars, Piano and all the percussions. I would say 2 to 3 months on and off.
