Tell us your inspiration behind this track

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

This tune contains three sections. In the first, a person expresses confusion by saying, “Kaise bhulaon teri Yaadein woh kaise manaaun is dil ko? When someone says, “Tu hai meri yaadon mein basi tu hai mere saanson se lipti hui,” it almost seems as if they are pleading for clarification since they are unsure what to do with all the memories they have left behind. Rage is the next stage. The phrase “Jhoothe thee saare woh kasmein Vaadein Teri woh baatein ban gayi yaadein” We can see from these words that the person is furious and feels betrayed since they realised that all of the promises were false and that all he has left with him are memories. Acceptance is the final stage. The person realises in “Tera Bana Tera Hua” that despite his hatred for the other person, he will always love the other and support her cause because “Tu hai meri yaadon mein basi tu hai mere saanson se lipti hui.” And the song concludes with that.

What brings next after this release?

We are from the City of Joy, Kolkata. I am well versed in Hindi and all of our previous songs were written in hindi for that reason but this year we’ll venture into our roots and we’ll focus on Bengali songs more and simultaneously we’ll keep performing at concerts and gigs
