Falguni, who makes use of the stage identify “Falu” received the Greatest Kids’s Music Album Grammy for ‘A Vibrant World’ on Sunday.

For the unversed, Falguni moved to the US in 2000, toured together with her Boston-based husband Gaurav Shah on the fusion band Karyshma (Hindi for Miracle), and launched a self-titled solo album within the US in 2007, mixing parts of people from throughout the south-east Asia with Western music. She has even carried out and collaborated with music maestro AR Rahman.

She is the one Indian-origin girl to be nominated within the Greatest Kids’s Music Album class on the Grammys twice.
