Nasha is Shevya’s second single, produced by Varun Jhunjhunwalla and Shankara Srikantan. The lyrics detail the feelings of being hopelessly lost in love through the imagery of a drunken haze. Nasha combines Western RnB/Pop elements with unique Hindi lyrics to create a fresh and catchy addition to the Indian independent music scene.

Tell us about your track

Nasha is Shevya’s second single, produced by Varun Jhunjhunwalla and Shankara Srikantan. Nasha was written to depict how relationships can sometimes feel like an addiction that’s too toxic to quit. The lyrics detail the feelings of being hopelessly lost in love through the imagery of a drunken haze. Nasha combines Western RnB/Pop elements with unique Hindi lyrics, to ultimately create a fresh and catchy addition to the Indian independent music scene.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

Nasha was a spontaneous project created and finished within a week. The production inspired darker lyrics leading to the concept of being drunk in toxic love.

How long did it take to record the track album EP ?

1 week to create the composition and lyrics and another 4 weeks to produce/mix/master which was spread out over a few months.

What brings next after this release?

I am hoping to release 2-3 singles this year and an EP next year!
