Tell us about your track

CAN’T SLEEP a song by UMMEED is about the people who are unable to figure out the reason why they’re not able to sleep. The lyrics of this song talks about the things we try to do when we are not able to get comfortable on our own bed because our thoughts have been compiled. We all know that feeling, right ? CAN’T SLEEP is a track with a duration of just 1 minute and 25 seconds and that’s the beauty of this song. UMMEED wrote the lyrics of this song in such a way that everyone can totally relate. Art is what we feel and express through. The Artist’s skill and this track is doing justice with the statement. The music of this song is very poppy and has some strange elements used in a way to describe the mood properly. During the musical thought process of this song ummeed was trying to make something which is not just an instrument playing in the background of a song he wanted it to be more than that, something poppy and cozy. More of his own self can be seen involving him and less of the flex elements. Enjoy and stream it already, if you haven’t.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

My problem of insomnia is with me from a really long time but i decieded to turn it into something creative and fun. Well that night became productive for me and the result was “Can’t Sleep”.

How long did it take to record the track album EP ?

1 and a half hour for the music and 2 days to finalize it and mixing/mastering

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

i just wrote the activities i was trying that night or i try when i want to sleep but i can’t.

What brings next after this release?

My next track is “FLOW”. The name is in english but the song is in Hindi/Urdu.
