Foo Fighters Win Greatest Rock Tune Grammy at 2022 Awards

Foo Fighters have taken residence the trophy for Greatest Rock Tune on the 2022 Grammy Awards for “Ready on a Struggle.”

There have been some massive names nominated for the award on this class, together with Mammoth WVH with the tune “Distance,” ” Paul McCartney‘s “Discover My Method,” Kings of Leon‘s “The Bandit” and Weezer‘s “All My Favourite Songs.”

Each Mammoth WVH and Foo Fighters’ nominations got here with a little bit of a sting. “Distance” was written by Wolfgang Van Halen for his father, the late legendary Eddie Van Halen, who died in October of 2020. The band debuted the tune, which was their very first official launch, just a few weeks after his passing. Foo Fighters, alternatively, simply misplaced their shining drummer Taylor Hawkins on March 25, simply previous to a competition efficiency they have been scheduled to play.
