“Kaise Bataoon” by Nirant is the feeling of missing someone while alone in a new city which you can’t miss.

We did an interview with the artist over a cup of coffee about this latest release, here’s what they had to say!

Tell us about your track

“Kaise Bataoon” is driven by Jazz influenced bass and drum sensibilities that ride on the poppy guitar riff giving the song a unique sound and feel. Additionally, this track was produced by Somesh Saha, who has also been the producer for Arijit Singh’s track Maan Le and the music director for Masaba Masaba.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

I drew inspiration from the feeling of missing someone while alone in a new city through lyrics meant to be confessional in nature.

How long did it take to record the track album EP ?

It took us around 4 months to record this track as we had to track all the instruments live and in different cities.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

This love song was meant to convey what I felt at the moment for the person I really loved. In moments of loneliness, it was the feeling that propagated through my heart and mind making me want to confess my feelings.

What brings next after this release?

I have 15 songs coming out in the next six months, which is exciting as I get to work with musicians I respect and admire.
