When Axl Rose’s favorite singer Dan McCafferty retired from Nazareth in 2013 after 45 years of lung-busting service, leaving bassist Pete Agnew because the final man standing from the band’s glory days, it appeared as if the sport may be up for Scotland’s rowdiest rock’n’rollers. 

However not so. Loughborough-born Carl Sentance (previously of NWOBHM also-rans Persian Threat and in addition, briefly, Krokus) has crammed McCafferty’s boots with spectacular gusto.
