Recroit’s latest track “Kasoor” is his breakup poured into a heartbreaking melody that will melt your heart.

We did an interview with the artist over a cup of coffee about this latest release, here’s what they had to say!

Tell us about your track

About 4 years ago when Recroit didn’t exist, the singer/songwriter of the duo, Rohit Tripathi, wrote a track called ‘Kasoor’. A little incomplete acoustic composition was made out of it back then. Years later, this melody came back to us and we experimented with infusing soulful guitars, warm drums, and catchy synths, to give the track an indie vibe. The song explores the idea of emotional distance and how the impact of a person you once loved can linger on. It captures the emotions of reminiscing the memories of time spent with one’s past lover. As artists, this melody is especially close to our hearts. We would love to get a chance to be featured in your playlists and make more people a part of our musical journey.
