‘Saunkan Saunkane’ Teaser: Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira’s catfight appears to be the real spice of the movie – Times of India

The teaser of one of the much-awaited Punjabi movies ‘Saunkan Saunkane’ has finally been released. Featuring for the first time ever, the trio of Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta, and Nimrat Khaira, the movie is touted to be a family entertainer; and, the teaser of the same has promised a big scoop of comedy that aims at tickling your funny bone.
The teaser shows the tale of a household, wherein the man of the house, Ammy Virk has not one but two wives – Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira, who actually are blood sisters in the movie. Now if you are thinking that having two wives must have made Ammy’s life easier, you are in for a surprise. Sargun Mehta herself brings her younger sister Nimrat to her house as her husband’s second wife, thinking that if her hubby has to get married the second time it’s better than she brings a girl with whom she could trust and co-exist. However, it appears that things didn’t turn out to be the way Sargun thought. Similarly, Nimrat too has her own expectations, but reality showed her a different picture altogether. Now all that is left between Sargun and Nimrat is a catfight, and amid the same poor Ammy loses the battle.

Now in the teaser, it has not been made clear why Ammy Virk got married the second time, and why is his first wife still in the home. Perhaps the trailer will paint a clearer picture. Nevertheless, even in this short first glimpse, one thing has been made crystal clear the Punjabi cinephiles are in for a special comic treat, hitting the big screens on May 13.
