“Sun To Na’ by Savneet Singh is a gem that’s a must have in your playlist.
I pay close attention to the people around me and their lives. So, as I was writing the song, I couldn’t help but think about a friend I had at the time who was going through a toxic relationship, and it suddenly struck me how difficult that must have been for her. Therefore, I began writing this song from the viewpoint of a Girl who feels emotionally cut off from the man or woman she loves in a relationship. She simply needs to be heard, and that is all she wants. She only wants his attention in exchange, thus I penned this song while empathising with those feelings.

Tell us about your track
“Sun Toh Na” empathises and attempts to give voice to those who feel unheard by those they love. The Song is written from the perspective of a girl, who’s in a phase of a relationship, wherein she feels emotionally distant from the person she loves. She feels unheard and she just wants that person to just listen to her and understand her – her feelings, her emotions and her pain of emotional despair.
Tell us your inspiration behind this track
So, basically I’m a very observant person, right from the start. I observe people around me and their stories, a lot. So, while composing the composition, It just reminded me of a friend who was going through some toxic relationship at that time and it just hit me, how hard it must be for her to go through such phase. So, I started writing this song , from the perspective of a Girl, who’s feels emotionally distant from the person she loves in a relationship. All she wants is something as basic as the need to be listened to. All she asks for in return is his time and thus, empathising those emotions and feelings, I wrote this song.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?
The Whole Idea behind such lyrics was to simply request and appeal the person we love, to just Listen to us. It’s just simply written by a person who’s in a emotional state where he/she feels distanced by the person he/she loves. So, the person, very politely asks the other person to Listen to me , listen to my dreams, listen to my darkest secrets, listen to my heartfelt feelings – In Short to just take out some time to listen to me . To spend some time with me. It’s a very basic human emotional need – to be just listened to.
What brings next after this release?
So, I have already started working on my 4th Original. Have a lot more planned out , Along with some collaborations and different versions of my existing songs too. so yeaa. Plenty of Good-Quality music, coming soon over the years. Watch out for Savneet! hahaa
