The 2022 Dreamville Festival has officially begun, with fans being offered the opportunity to stream it exclusively on the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, Prime Video, and the Amazon Music App.
The two-day event in Raleigh, North Carolina features a star-studded lineup that will include performances from Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, T.I., Rico Nasty, Jeezy, Wale, and Ja Rule and Ashanti, among others. The entire Dreamville Records team—J. Cole, J.I.D, Bas, Ari Lennox, Omen, Cozz, Lute, and EarthGang—will also perform.
It also comes as Cole, Dreamville, and DJ Drama connected for the Gangsta Grillz mixtape, D-Day. The 15-song project includes contributions from the entire label, along with guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Young Nudy, ASAP Ferg, and more.
The livestream is hosted by Rotation’s Rob Markman, R&B Rotation DJ Mode host Gia Peppers, and Quality Control Music’s VP of A&R, Wayno.
President of Dreamville Studios & Records, Candace Rodney, explained, “We established Dreamville Festival as one of the premier hip-hop events in the country; bringing together all aspects of the Dreamville brand. This year, we’ve scaled the festival to two days and have curated a lineup of some of Dreamville’s closest collaborators.”
Rodney added: “It’s always been a goal to make Dreamville Fest accessible to fans around the world, and partnering with Amazon Music has made that a reality.”
You can stream the 2022 Dreamville Festival on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel here, Prime Video (Day 1, Day 2), and on the Amazon Music app.
