A long wandering or voyage usually marked by many changes of fortune. It involves the irresistible plot line of a worthy hero experiencing a multitude of emotions and bringing all the pieces together. Baidurjya’s ‘Odyssey’ is an amalgamation of different memories and moments in one’s voyage of finding solace. The bits and pieces of the memory treasure are stitched together to create eye opening experiences. The song revolves around intricate guitar RnB and funk chops with some electronic music.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

Baidurjya is often heard talking about his guitar gods like Guthrie Govan, Mateus Asato, Allan Holdworth, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and Tommy Emmanuel. He draws major influences and inspiration from them, over the years his playing style has been crafted from these greats to make him sound unique, modern and one of a kind. His guitar sounds like it has a voice of its own and that makes him stand out differently than other guitar players around the country.

How long did it take to record the track \album \EP ?

Baidurjya wrote the intro idea of the track back in 2021. He got back into writing the track around mid February of 2023 and after going through various iterations and picking the best pieces along the way, the track was finished by May 2023.
