Tell us about your track

Manali Hippie is a song that spreads the freedom and happy vibes that flows through the streets of manali. Chintan wrote and composed the ukulele song after staying almost two months at the place. He created the song for his own time travel. Would you like to book a sit?

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

I wanted to capture the memories and that’s how the song was created. I still feel the same vibes – in the midst of drizzles, wearing my multicolour scarf and sitting under a roof, butterflies flying around and birds chirping in the apple orchard ahead. That’s where the song was written with my ukulele.

How long did it take to record the track album EP ?

After performing it multiple times at various occasions, I finally got the clarity to record and produce it after 3 years.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

Lyrics are simply depicting the travel experience in old manali. It talks about how one gets lost into nature, the love and warmth that you feel with fellow travellers, a feeling of one large community, just loosening and driving with a flow, meeting new characters all along – in short, just embracing freedom and living fully – feeling like a carefree hippie.

What brings next after this release?

The next song is actually the first part of this 2 songs’ travel story. It’s a story of a couple of musicians and a traveller getting along and heading towards a carefree life style. Aiming to get lost into nature in order to find oneself back. Titled – Lo kho chala
