Tell us about your track

Whether it is the gym, that startup idea, an artist’s block or that podcast that you never started. This is something that will get you pumped to take that leap of faith. It features some funky embellishments and unconventional guitar sounds. It’s a simplistic arrangement with a swift but stinging guitar melody that binds the whole song together. The chorus hits you with an 80s disco vibe where you can’t help but give in to the rhythm and start moving. The song ends with an uplifting vocal ballad and a powerful message for the listeners.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

I was listening to a lot of ratatat at the time. And I decided that I need an intro sound for live performances. So I was just trying to make that sound. I first came up with a riff, some drums, bass and soon I was humming a melody in my head while working on it. One thing led to another and I had this track all panned out.

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

The song is a campaign that urges its listeners to go out and take a chance on themselves and stop waiting around for that opportunity to show up. It gives them a vision of their dreams being fulfilled but only if they act upon it right now. The song asks you to believe in yourself no matter how hard life is right now. And that we are all meant for greatness, all we need to do is to put ourselves out there and take action.
