Mad Dolphin is a guitar duo which is a blend of math rock, modern instrumental guitar, percussive guitar, modern pop and beatbox from Chennai. The duo consists of Ashiyan Nujoom and Mayank Saini who met in 2013 and bonded over their common interests in music. Mad Dolphin is heavily influenced by bands like CHON, Intervals, TTNG and also by solo artists like Jon Gomm, Mateus Asato, brakence.

This track is a math rock track That Mayank came up with and had Ashiyan add on to it It’s an idea highly inspire by the writing and playing style of wyatt otis(guitarist of brakence) This song has all the elements of math rock Open tuning , colorful chords , tapping, harmonic riffs and unconventional but fluid time signature change

Mad Dolphin is a guitar duo which is a blend of math rock, modern instrumental guitar, percussive guitar, modern pop and beatbox from Chennai. The duo consists of Ashiyan Nujoom and Mayank Saini who met in 2013 and bonded over their common interests in music. Mad Dolphin is heavily influenced by bands like CHON, Intervals, TTNG and also by solo artists like Jon Gomm, Mateus Asato, brakence. The duo is set to release their first EP “Experiments of Heart and Mind” this year. With their EP Mad Dolphin aims to introduce a new flavor to music, a mix of never before heard percussive guitar and beatboxing, pop songs with intricate guitar parts and some groovy tunes to make their audience headbang.
