Rajanand Lonkar’s “Sukoon” sounds like the work of an artist trying to break free from the chains of the modern-day job to follow his passion for music.
“Sukoon” is a track about the beauty of the struggle in real life of a modern-day musician and taking it to step by step. Rajanand talks about the smallest things, the farmlands, the mountains, the refreshment of tress, the excitement as kids all of which he relished in his childhood, that calm him down and give him peace, “Sukoon”. It’s about embracing the struggle of the little things in life.
“Not being able to enjoy the life he had as a child, due to his work, is the inspiration behind writing “Sukoon”, says Lonkar. The song has a very laid-back guitar plucking, with some catchy guitar riffs in between, mellow instrumentation and along with soothing vocals which for some reason have a very nostalgic sound to them, and really walk you back to your childhood memories. It took Rajanand almost a month to get the recordings completed.
“Sukoon” is a song that emphasizes the message that, “Real life exists beyond the four walls of the office”, adds Lonkar. He continues to plan to work on more music while being optimistic about the beauty of falling in love with his passion.
