‘The Archies’: Zoya Akhtar’s musical starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor formally goes on flooring – Instances of India ►

After a lot hype and anticipation, Zoya Akhtar‘s ‘The Archies‘ has lastly gone on flooring.

Producer Reema Kagti on Monday made the official announcement by sharing a photograph of a clapper board and wrote, “Archie’s shoot begins. #TigerBaby’s first solo manufacturing. Companion in crime @zoieakhtar.”

This replace comes weeks after Etimes paparazzi obtained you the unique first pictures of the musical’s lead stars – Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina.

Our cameras obtained the primary footage of the younger abilities on the studios for a glance check. The pictures noticed Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge, Agastya as Archie Andrews, Khushi as Betty Cooper and Vedang as Jughead Jones.

The 4, who will likely be making their Bollywood debut with this musical, will introduce the youngsters of Riverdale to a brand new era in India. Not like the American teen drama ‘Riverdale’, this new adaptation will get a ‘Desi’ twist.

Though the photographs are out for all to see, Zoya has but to formally announce the lead stars of her dream undertaking.

The director introduced her new undertaking in 2021 saying, “I’m tremendous excited to have the possibility to convey The Archies to life. It was a big a part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally cherished, which can be why I’m just a little nervous.”

Akhtar is at present engaged on her movie ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan’ that stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
