Tiffany Frampton’s latest single “Meant to Be” is about acceptance and putting your faith in god.

Tell us about your track

This song is about accepting and trusting where God may have you in life. No matter what you’re facing, God will be what you need in those moments. I believe God allows us to go through situations to grow our faith – unfortunately, we face hardships because of sin, not because of God. But He may allow them for His glory and our good, if we continue to choose to follow Him. So, if we’re facing the unknowns and feel lost, let’s trust what’s meant to be.

Tell us your inspiration behind this track

I was walking through years of unknowns. Not knowing or understanding what God was doing or what He was going to do. I put up a fight for awhile, but decided to let go, and trust Him! I wrote this song along that journey, and I’ve now seen what He was doing!

How long did it take to record the track \album \EP ?

I wrote this song 3 years ago, but sat on it until it’s release! I think from start to finish it only took about 2-3 weeks! I worked with the Online Recording Studio, and they do amazing work, and they’re very quick and efficient!

What is the meaning behind the lyrics?

The pre-chorus sets up for the chorus, in basically this prayer, God, I know you lead me and open doors, and I’ve run away or tried to close them…BUT, I trust you now and want to jump in. And the whole chorus is my heart saying, okay God, I’m ready to do this but I need you through it. Every circumstance I face, I need you to be exactly what I need in that moment. Walking through hard times and trials is never fun, but it does push you into dependence on God and ultimately becoming more like Christ. Which, is what the last line in the chorus shows. I WANT to be lost, if that’s where I’m meant to be.

What brings next after this release?

I am writing, writing, writing! There are lot of big opportunities that are on the horizon, but I am just planning on working on my vocals, stage presence, and writing songs, so that I’m prepared for whatever God brings next. Whatever you do, do for the glory of God!
