Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar on Monday started taking pictures for her upcoming Netflix live-action musical movie “The Archies”.
The streamer has partnered with Archie Comics for the movie, which might be set in Sixties India.
“The Archies” reportedly options Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Sridevi’s youthful daughter Khushi Kapoor and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s son, Agastya Nanda, all making their display debut.
“The Archies” is produced by Akhtar and her longtime collaborator Reema Kagti below their manufacturing home Tiger Child.
Kagti took to Instagram and posted an image of a clapboard.
“Archie’s shoot begins, Tiger Child’s first solo manufacturing #partnerincrime @zoieakhtar @Netflix,” she wrote.
Although the forged has not formally been introduced, reviews declare that Suhana might be seen taking part in Veronica Lodge, whereas Khushi and Agastya will function as Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews, respectively.
The trio had been additionally noticed on the movie’s set in March, reportedly for a fancy dress trial.
